The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baqaei, welcomed the statement issued by the emergency meeting of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) foreign ministers, which condemned the Zionist regime's aggression against Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty, as well as its violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.  Baqaei added, "The convening of the emergency meeting of the PGCC foreign ministers reflects the shared understanding of regional countries regarding the unprecedented threat posed by Israel's violation of laws and the urgent need for regional and international action to halt the imposed war against Iran."
